Aberffraw Biscuits
Iconic, historic. The biscuit that began our journey.
Inspired by legend, Aberffraw biscuits are the oldest known biscuit recipes in Britain — dating back to 13th-century Anglesey.
Hand-stamped with the shape of a scallop shell, baked to a delicate, buttery crumb and finished with a dusting of sugar, it’s simple, elegant, and unmistakably Welsh.
Available in classic and flavoured varieties, for retail and foodservice.
Biscuits for Cheese
Rustic, yet refined. Elevate your cheeseboard.
At Shepherd’s, we believe cheese deserves more than a cracker. Our Biscuits for Cheese are hand-baked using grains chosen for their flavour and character… designed to complement fine cheese.
Flavours include:
- Wheat & Seven Grain – earthy depth with toasted nutty notes… pair with a creamy soft cheese.
- Spelt & Sea Salt – nutty, slightly earthy flavour, with lovely hits of salt… pair with a ruch hard cheese.
- Wholemeal & Malted Rye – rich malty depth and earthy nuttiness… pair with a blue cheese.

Welsh Biscuits
Tastes of Wales, reimagined.
Drawing on the comfort of home baking, our Welsh Biscuits range reinterpret the flavours of favourite Welsh ingredients and recipes in biscuit form.
With ingredients like oats, currants and gentle spice, they’re a nod to our roots — nostalgic yet fresh, handcrafted and unmistakably local.
Signature Journey
The pursuit of flavour
Our Signature Journey range explores global ingredients through the medium of traditional shortbread.
Each limited-edition tin celebrates a different region or theme — combining classic biscuit craft with rare and remarkable flavours.
The first collection, Journey #1: Asia, features:

Alongside our own ranges, we work with smaller multiple retailers, hotels and hospitality partners to create own-label biscuits that reflect their story and taste.
